Adriano Naves de Brito

From 1994 up to 2022, he was a professor of philosophy at Universidade Federal de Goiás and Unisinos. He held a visiting scholar/professorship at Universities in London, Tübingen, Bielefeld, Buenos Aires and Stanford during his career. Between 2017 and 2020, he was the secretary of education in the municipality of Porto Alegre, with an intense program of reforms to improve primary education in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. Since 2003, he has been a researcher at CNPq/Brazil. He is the CEO of the Mercosul Biennale, which is, since its inauguration in 1997, one of the most relevant biennales in Latin America.
