Dr. Graciela Borsato is Managing Director of the Development and Research in Early Mathematics Education (DREME) Network at Stanford University. At DREME, in addition to her role as Managing Director and senior researcher, Dr. Borsato oversees the design of educational resources to improve math teaching and learning in the early years. Prior to DREME, she was a Senior Research Associate at Stanford’s John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities. Dr. Borsato’s expertise spans diverse content areas. Across her projects, she works at the intersection of research and practice to promote equitable conditions for learning and thriving in school and life, with a particular focus on immigrant children and families. Dr. Borsato graduated with the equivalent of a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. After immigrating to the United States, she completed a master’s degree in Psychology at San Jose State University and received a PhD in Education (Child and Adolescent Development concentration) from Stanford University.
