A New Era in Brazilian Public Education
Overview
Launched in February 2024, Education + AI in Action | The Nudelman Initiative aims to improve public education in Brazil from the earliest years of schooling. Starting in Passo de Camaragibe, Alagoas, this project addresses key issues such as low literacy rate, teacher training, and lack of resources in socially vulnerable communities.
The initiative uses artificial intelligence and tablets as allies in the classroon, supporting teachers and school leaders in enhancing pedagogical practices and strengthening studente learning.
Our Mission
To empower every child with access to high-quality public education, enriched by technology and grounded in best teaching practices. We focus on children in Early Childhood Education and the Primary Years, fostering their full development and preparing them for a successful future
Program Highlights
Scalable and Adaptable Model: Designed for easy implementation in small towns, our program serves communities often overlooked by philanthropic efforts.
Local Research and Evaluation: Researchers rigorously assess the program’s impact, ensuring continuous improvement.
Culturally Attuned Resources: Combines the best educational practices from Nouvelle School and the latest research, adapted to resonate with and enrich local culture.
Community-Centric Approach: By engaging local educators, families, and stakeholders, we build a support ecosystem for our young learners.
Our Vision for Expansion
With a scalable model, our goal is to see a growing number of small towns in Alagoas — and eventually beyond — adopting our program.
